Deposit OXIDIZED ORE OPEN CAST; THERE ARE 26 CORE AND PERCUSSION BOREHOLES
Deposit ORE RESERVES OF THE UM G8EIG DEPOSIT WERE CALCULATED MANY TIMES IN 1960,1962 AND IN 1964. ATTIA CALCULATED THE ORE RESERVES OF UM GHEIG AS FOLLOWS: 100.000TONS PROVED ORE ASSAYING 13.9% ZN AND 2.03%PB OR 1.500.000 TONS OF PROVED ORE ASSAYING 11.0% ZN AND 1.30% PB IN ADDITION, THERE IS ABOUT 1000.000 TONS OF ORE ASSAYING LESS THAN 10% ZN. ORE DUMPS WITH ORE RESERVES EQUAL TO 70000 TO 100.000TONS OF ORE, THE AVERAGE ZINC CONTENT BEING 9.58-11.4% AND THAT OF LEAD 1.80 -3.90%. ; INFO.SRC : 3 FIELD OBSERV; 1 PUB LIT
