Deposit DIAMONDIFEROUS METACONGLOMERATE AND WEATHERED EQUIVALENTS. UNSORTED ALLUVIUM DEPOSITED ON QUARTZITE OUTCROPS PRIOR TO BEING COVERED BY SPALLED OFF LARGE BLOCKS FROM CLIFFS ABOVE THE CREEK. ALLUVIUM SHIFTED BETWEEEN BOULDERS AND WAS PROTECTED FROM EROSION. MINING TAKES PLACE UNDER AND BETWEEN LARGE QUARTZITE BOULDERS. ALLUVIUM CONSISTS OF SHARP FRAGMENTS, BOULDERS, PEBBLES, COBBLES AND SAND SIZED MATERIAL. SOME MATERIAL COATED BY MANGANESE OXIDES. MAFIC AND ULTRAMAFIC ROCKS OUTCROP NEAR SERRO.
