SETRATA DE UNA CUBETA OCUPADA POR UN CUERPO DE PIRITA MASIVA, CUYO FONDO SE ENCUENTRA A -250 M. APROXIMADAMENTE. EL LIMITE SUPERIOR DEL CUERPO SE HALLA A -30 M. LOS TERRENOS DE RECUBRIMIENTO ESTAN FORMADOS, DE ARRIBA HACIA ABAJO, POR: - UNA CAPA DE ALUVIONES ARCILLO-ARENOSOS (5 A 15 M). - UNA CAPA DE HEMATITA (5 A 25 M.) - UNA CAPA DELGADA DE ARENISCAS Y FINALMENTE UNA FORMACION DE CUARZO HIDROTERMAL QUE SE SITUA POR ENCIMA DE LA PIRITA. LAS ANDESITAS FORMAN LA CAJA DE LA TOTALIDAD DEL CUERPO PIRITOSO.
