WHEN MINED OUT, THE PAYSTREAK WAS FOLLOWED DOWN THE WEST SIDE OF THE VALLEY OF LOST CHICKEN CREEK. MINING IN LATER YEARS CONFINED TO VALLEY, MAINLY BY HYDRAULIC METHODS. INTERMITTANT MINING.
