  • GEOL.DESC: LIMESTONE CROPS OUT OVER ENTIRE HILL BEHIND MINE. GRANODIORITE - LIMESTONE CONTACT LIES 300 FT. TO THE NW. AN APLITE DIKE ABOUT 18 INCHES WIDE STRIKING N45E, DIPS GENTLY NORTH, OVERLIES DEPOSIT. SHEAR ZONE DOES NOT APPEAR TO CUT DIKE.

  • TWO SLOT-STOPES AND AN ADIT HAVE DEVELOPED THE SHEAR ZONE BENEATH APLITE DIKE. UPPER STOPE IS 10 FT. HIGH BY 6 FT. WIDE AND 30 FT. LONG. 20 FT. BELOW IS AN ADIT DRIVEN N30W FOR 60 FT. SECOND STOPE IN 20 FT. IS IMMEDIATELY ABOVE THE ADIT.

Deposit SCHEELITE IS IN TACTITE FRAGMENTS AND IN GREEN CLAY GOUGE SURROUNDING THE TACTITE. NARROW VEINLETS OF PURE SCHEELITE UP TO 2 IN. IN WIDTH CUT BOTH GRANITE AND GOUGE ALONG FAULT.
Deposit TACTITE IN SHEAR ZONE IN GRANODIORITE
Deposit SOME ARE THIN TABULAR BODIES WHICH FOLLOW THE BEDDIG PLANES, BUT MOST ARE CHIMNEYS OR POCKETS OR VERY IRREGULAR SHAPE.
