| Deposit | SILVER ORE OCCURS IN FLAT-LYING QUARTZ VEINS 40 TO 50 FEET ABOVE BASAL CLASTICS IN NORTHERN PART OF THE MINE. VEIN AVERAGED ABOUT 2 1/2 FEET THICK. IN MUCH OF THE ORE, THE METALLIC MINERALS ARE MINUTE PARTICLES DISSEMINATED THROUGH BANDS OF QUARTZ ARGENTITE (PRINCIPAL ORE MINERAL) APPEARED AS GREENISH STAINS OR SOOTY SPOTS. SCHEELITE OCCURS AS SMALL IRREGULARLY SPACED SHOOTS ASSOCIATED WITH STRINGERS AND PODS OF CALCITE AND QUARTZ ALONG EDGES OF OLD STOPED AREAS OF SOUTHERN WORKINGS. THE VEIN HAS BEEN OFFSET DOWNWARD IN A SERIES OF STEPS FROM EAST TO WEST. TWO OTHER POST-MINERAL FAULTS FORM BOUNDARIES TO THE LIMESTONE BLOCK CONTAINING THE VEIN.; MODEL NAME COULD ALSO BE: POLYMETALLIC VEINS. |
| Deposit | MOST WORK DONE AT NORTH HALF IN EARLY PERIOD WITH ESTIMATED PRODUCTION OF $5 MILLION TO $13 MILLION. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT; 3 FIELD OBSERV |
