  • RECENT CLAIMS HAVE BEEN FILED BY MR. LAW OF DELTA WHO TELLS THIS REPORTER THAT HE HAS HELD THE CLAIMS FOR 30 YEARS. THE CAVE PROSPECT IS THE FURTHER WEST SHAFT.

Deposit MINING OPERATIONS STARTED ON A SHOOT OF COPPER ORE WHICH CAME TO THE SURFACE IN A JASPER-QUARTZ LEDGE ON AN E-W FAULT. THE ORE WAS WORKED BY MEANS OF AN OPEN CUT AND 2 INCLINE SHAFTS SPACED AT 100 FT. INTERVALS ON THE STRIKE OF THE ORE SHOOT WHICH INCLINED TO THE NE FOR 300 FT ON A DIP OF 20 DEG. TO A DEPTH OF 150 FT. LATER A 500 FT TWO COMPARTMENT SHAFT WAS SUNK NEAR THE E. END OF THE ORE SHOOT AND A CONNECTION WAS MADE WITH THE ORE ON THE 200 LEVEL
