  • A LARGE, IRREGULAR QUARRY IS LOCATED ON THE SURFACE AND ONE ADIT IS DRIVEN IN A SW DIRECTION 60 FEET BELOW THE QUARRY FLOOR. THE PIT IS 40 FT WIDE AT THE EAST END OF THE PEGMATITE, THEN NARROWS TO 30 FT WIDE FOR 100 FT ALONG THE STRIKE OF THE PEGMATITE.

  • NO PRODUCTION FIGURES ARE AVAILABLE. PROPERTY HAS BEEN INACTIVE SINCE 1965. JAHNS (1946) REPORTS AN ESTIMATED "SEVERAL THOUSAND TONS OF SCRAP MICA" PRODUCED.
