  • WORKINGS CONSISTS OF A 600 FT DISCOVERY CUT AND 2000 FT OF DRIFTING AND CROSSCUTTING WITHIN 5 TUNNELS. TUNNELS WERE 240 , 320 , 235 , 680 , 350 & 175 FT. LONG AT TIME OF MAXIMUM DEVELOPMENT. AS OF 1961 , ONE TUNNEL WAS PARTLY ACCESSIBLE; THE OTHERS WERE CAVED.

  • IN 1946 PROPERTY CONSISTED OF THREE CLAIMS AND AN ABANDONED MILL WHICH WAS BUILT IN 1938 ; THE CLAIMS HAD BEEN SURVEYED FOR A PATENT; BUT HAD NOT BEEN PATENTED. BY 1961 , THE MILL HAD COLLAPSED.

Deposit DEPOSIT LARGELY CONSISTS OF FIVE FISSURE FILLED BEDDING VEINS WHICH ARE DISPLACED BY EN ECHELON SEGMENTS OF W-NW FAULTS THAT DIP SW. DURING EXCAVATION OF THE MILLSITE A METADIORITE SILL CONTAINING EXTENSIVE QUARTZ VEINLETS WAS DISCOVERED NATIVE GOLD FORMS IRREGULAR MASSES AND SMALL ELONGATE PARTICLES WITHIN THE QUARTZ VEINS.
Deposit AVAILABLE ORE HAS BEEN MINED OUT EXCEPT FOR SMALL UNECONOMICAL BLOCKS OF MILLING GRADE ORE. BETTER ORE WAS MINED FROM THE ZONE OF OXIDATION ABOVE THE WATER TABLE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
