  • NEAR CONTACT OF FELSIC VOLCANIC ROCKS AND ARGILLITES. QUARTZ VEINLETS CONTAIN DISSEMINATED PYRITE, GALENA, AND ARSENOPYRITE. PYRITE AND ARSENOPYRITE ARE ALSO CONCENTRATED ALONG SHEARS IN THE SILICIFIED COUNTRY ROCK. MINERALIZATION IS SIMILAR TO THAT PRESENT AT THE JONES-KEYSTONE MINE IN RANDOLPH COUNTY.

  • A SHAFT WAS OPENED BUT WAS ABANDONED WHEN LITTLE ORE WAS RECOVERED. IN 1969 THE SHAFT HAD BEEN FILLED IN AND A FEW PITS AND A TRENCH WERE ALL THAT REMAINED. ; ECON.COM: DIFFICULTY ENCOUNTERED IN SEPARATING ORES.
