| Deposit | THE GOLD OCCURS IN OUTWASH DEPOSITS WHICH CONSIST OF BOULDERS AND FRAGMENTS FROM THE METAMORPHIC AND VOLCANIC ROCKS. THE GOLD-BEARING DEBRIS IS SAID TO BE FROM A FEW FEET TO SEVENTY FEET DEEP OVER AN AREA OF APPROXIMATELY 60 ACRES. THE GOLD IS COARSE AND OCCURS NEAR BEDROCK. IT HAS EVIDENTLY BEEN DERIVED FROM THE DISINTEGRATION OF AURIFEROUS VEINS IN THE METAMORPHIC ROCKS AS IT IS MUCH COARSER THAN THAT CONTAINED IN THE NORTH STAR AND KING OF ARIZONA VEINS. |
