  • THE PHYLLITE IS PART OF A PENDANT IN THE GRANITE ABOUT 0.5 MI WIDE AND SEVERAL MILES LONG TO NE. ONLY QUARTZ VEINS NEAR CENTER OF PHYLLITE BELT CONTAIN TUNGSTEN OF COMMERCIAL VALUE. HEAVIEST CONCENTRATION OF TUNGSTEN OCCURS ON NW SIDE OF GRANITE; SOME DISSEMINATED THROUGH SW PART OF GRANITE.
