  • DEVELOPMENT CONSISTS OF A TUNNEL DRIVEN N. 70 DEG W. 250 FT., FOLLOWING ONE OF THE DIABASE DIKES. AT 75 FT. FROM THE PORTAL, CUT QUARTZ VEIN CARRYING VALUES IN GOLD. ALSO, AT 200 FT. WEST OF THE PORTAL, CUT ANOTHER QUARTZ VEIN CARRYING GOLD VALUES. A RAISE WAS PUT UP ON THE VEIN SOME 30 FT. AND A SMALL STOPE STARTED. AT 250 FT. WEST OF THE PORTAL, A CROSSCUT HAS BEEN RUN NORTH 55 FT. INTERSECTING A PARALLEL DIABASE DIKE. ON THE HILL ABOVE THE TUNNEL LEVEL, A TUNNEL HAS BEEN DRIVEN S. 20 DEG W. ON A QUARTZ VEIN IN LIMESTONE, A DISTANCE OF 20 FT., THEN AN INCLINE SHAFT SUNK ON THE VEIN TO A DEPTH OF 80 FT. OLD MILLSITE.
