Deposit PANNING OF SURFACE SOILS IN THE MINE AREA INDICATE UP TO 0.1 % HG IS PRESENT IN AN AREA 1000 FT BY 100 FT
Deposit PLACER CINNABAR WAS DISCOVERED IN STREAM GRAVEL IN 1913 AND SOON THEREAFTER, A SHALLOW SHAFT WAS SUNK IN THE STREAM BED. IN 1941, THE BRADLEY MINING CO. EXPLORED IT WITH NO PRODUCTION. IN 1941, LESSEES INSTALLED A 4-PIPE RETORT AND PRODUCED SOME HG FROM SORTED ORE. DEVELOPMENT CONSISTS OF 2 50-FT SHAFTS CONNECTED WITH SHORT DRIFTS, AS WELL AS SURFACE CUTS AND SHORT ADITS ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT; 3 FIELD OBSERV
