| Deposit | LARGE QUARTZ VEINS IN A DEEPLY WEATHERED GRANODIORITE. A 2-3 FT WHITE BULL QUARTZ VEIN WAS EXPLORED BY THE BIG ADI-T IN THE CENTRAL PORTION OF THE CAMP. THE VEIN BEARS N65E, 35N-W AND HAS BEEN MINED ALONG ITS STRIKE FOR OVER 200 FT. A SMALL- PROSPECT ABOUT 0.25 MILE FARTHER TO THE NE MAY BE ON AN EXTEN-SION OF THE SAME VEIN. SMALLER QUARTZ VEINS PARALLEL AND CROSS-CUT THE MAJOR VEIN SYSTEM. THE UPPER SHAFT WAS SUNK ON A 2-3 F-T QUARTZ VEIN THAT BEARS N20W, 85E. THE SHAFT IS ABOUT 60 FT D-EEP AND IS INTERCEPTED AT DEPTH BY AN ADIT DRIVEN ALONG THE ST-RIKE OF THE VEIN FROM A POSITION ABOUT 60 FT DOWN THE CANYON. -THE VEIN IS HIGH IN PYRITE, BUT NOT MUCH ELSE IS VISIBLE. |
