  • IN 1917, A. 50-TONS MELTER WAS BUILT, AND OPERATED SEASONALLY. IN 1918, THE MINE WAS ONE OF THE CHIEF PRODUCERS IN THE DISTRICT, AND AGAIN IN 1922. IN 1926, 150 TONS LEAD ORE WERE SHIPPED BY LESSEES, AND IN 1931, LESSEES WERE WORKING IN THE UPPER ADIT.

Deposit THE BULLSHEAD MINE HAS ABOUT 6,000 FT OF UNDERGROUND WORKINGS, MOSTLY DRIFTS, ON BOTH SIDES OF THE CANYON. IN 1917 A 50-TON SMELTER WAS BUILT AND WORKED SEASONALLY. IN 1918 THIS MINE WAS ONE OF THE CHIEF PRODUCERS IN THE DISTRICT, AND AGAIN IN 1922, IN 1926, 150 TONS OF LEAD ORE WAS SHIPPED BY LESSEES AND IN 1931 LESSEES WERE WORKING IN THE UPPER ADIT ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
