Deposit THE ORE IS AN OXIDIZED AG-CU MATERIAL, OCCURING AT THE INTERSECTION OF TWO FISSURES. THE BULK OF THE ORE TAKEN FROM THE TEMPEST MINE IS TYPICAL OF THE MAY DAY-TEMPEST FISSURE ORES, BEING AN FE-AG-CU PRODUCT. THE PB ORE IS FOUND AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE NORTH AND SOUTH MINERALIZING FISSURE WITH THE TEMPEST FISSURE AS WELL AS ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH FISSURE AWAY FROM THE INTERSECTION. ORES CARRYING THE HIGHEST PB VALUES WERE FOUND AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE NORTH AND SOUTH VEIN WITH THE EAST AND WEST VEIN. STOPES ARE MAINLY ON THE TEMPEST VEIN BUT IN PART ON THE N-S FISSURES NEAR THEIR INTERSECTION WITH THE TEMPEST VEIN. FISSURE IS FILLED WITH CRUSHED LIMESTONE AND GOUGE. IRREGULAR BODIES OF OXIDIZED CU ORE OCCURRED IN THE HANGING WALL. AT THE 150-FT LEVEL, A BODY OF OCHEROUS ORE 4-6 FT WIDE CARRIED SMALL AMOUNTS OF CU CARBONATE.
