General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit WHITE QUARTZ VEIN FOLLOWS N-S SHEAR ZONE IN SCHIST. RHYOLITE DIKE CROPS OUT ON RIDGE TO WEST OF VEIN SYSTEM. N20E VEINS DO NOT APPEAR TO CUT OR CROSS THE N70W SHEAR ZONES. MASSIVE WHITE QUARTZ VEINS ALONG N70W ZONES ARE NOT WELL-MINERALIZED, WHILE N-S VEINS ARE. MINERALIZATION MAY BE ASSOCIATED WITH LATER (?) RHYOLITE RATHER THAN WITH MASSIVE (EARLY) WHITE QUARTZ. SILVERY-WHITE ARSENOPYRITE(?) OCCURS IN QUARTZ AS SPRAYS AND CLOTS WITH FINE-GRAINED PYRITE, SOME RUBY SILVER. VEIN IS BRECCIATED AND RECEMENTED WITH CLEAR SILICA. PYRITE COATS VUGS IN CEMENTED BRECCIA.
