Deposit ALL MINES IN THE EL HATILLO-FLORENCIA DISTRICT ARE ABANDONED, BUT LA PLATILLA, LA OBDULIA, AND EL DORADO HAVE BEEN IMPORTANT MINES.
Deposit DISTRICT IS CHARACTERIZED BY QUARTZ VEINS WITH A THICKNESS OF UP TO 1 M. THERE IS AN ABUNDANT CONCENTRATION OF SULFUR (UP TO 30%), LOW GOLD CONTENT (< 10 G/T), AND ABUNDANT SILVER (100-1000 PPM).
