Comments on the workings information

  • IN 1982, WORKINGS CONSISTED AT THE EAST SITE OF ONE OPEN CUT MOSTLY FILLED WITH DEBRIS AND AT THE WEST SITE OF A CAVED TUNNEL, SHAFT, SEVERAL PROSPECT PITS AND DUMPS. SOME ORE WAS SEEN ON THE DUMPS. THE SHAFT WAS ABOUT 7.6 M (25 FT) IN DIAMETER AND 3 M (10 FT) DEEP. AND WAS FILLED WITH DEBRIS.

  • MINE WAS PRODUCING 100 TONS OF ORE A WEEK IN OCTOBER, 1884. ORE SUPPLIED ISABELLA FURNACE.
