  • INFORMATION LACKING. IN 1955 QUARRY WORKED SPORADICALLY. BOTH SURFACE AND UNDERGROUND WORKINGS. SCHISTOSITY TRENDS NE. WITH DIP PROBABLY ABOUT 20 DEG. NW. INTERBEDDED MEDIUM TO FINE GRAINED MICACEOUS QUARTZITES AND VERY FINE GRAINED ALMOST PURE QUARTZITES; BEDS INTERFINGER AND INTERGRADE INTO SCHISTS AND MARBLES IN SHORT DISTANCES. QUARTZITES LIGHT GRAY IN COLOR.
