  • WORKED BY JESUITS FOR 30-40 YRS IN THE 18TH CENTURY, AND AGAIN FROM THE LATE 18TH CENTURY WITH INTERMITTENT PRODUCTION UP TO TODAY. AT LEAST 500 KG, AND POSSIBLY UP TO 4000 KG, OF GOLD AND SILVER RECOVERED FROM VEINS AND ELUVIAL-ALLUVIAL DEPOSITS. INTERMITTENT PRODUCER.

GOLD CONTAINS 2 TO 17% AG. SMALL ELUVIAL AND ALLUVIAL PLACERS OCCUR AROUND THE VEINS WITH GRADES OF 0.16 TO 1.2 G/CUBIC M AU.
