| Deposit | FISHER MOUNTIAN INTRUSIVE AND HOMESTAKE-HENDERSON INTRUSIVE COMPLEX SHOW INTRUSIVE PORPHYRY-TYPE ALTERATION WITH POTASSIC, ARGILLIC AND PHYLLIC CONCENTRIC ZONING. (CROWN BUTTE MINES LTD. 1989 ANNUAL REPORT). |
| Deposit | ?THE MOST INTENSE MINERALIZATION IS FOUND AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF FRACTURES IN THE GROS VENTRE FORMATION? (CROWN BUTTE RESOURCES LTD. 1988 ANNUAL REPORT). ?ALTERED AND MINERALIZED ROCKS ARE LOCALIZED ALONG SILL AND DIKE MARGINS, UPPER AND LOWER CONTACTS OF THE MEAGHER FORMATION, CONTACTS WITH INTRUSIVE STOCKS AND COMPLEXES, AND FAULTS.? (ELLIOT AND OTHERS, 1993?). EARLY EPIDOTE-POTASSIUM FELDSPAR ASSEMBLAGE FORMED A PERMEABILITY BARRIER IN THE PARK SHALE TO LATER ORE-BEARING FLUIDS WHICH THEN REPLACED THE MEAGHER FORMATION. WHERE FRACTURES CUT THIS BARRIER, THE OVERLYING PILGRIM LIMESTONE IS MINERALIZED (IE FISHER MOUNTAIN DEPOSIT) (ELLIOT AND OTHERS, 1993?). |
