  • ABOUT 12 TONS OF ORE MINED. IN THE FIELD, THE AVERAGE GRADE OF THE ORE BODY WAS ESTIMATED TO BE 40 PERCENT MANGANESE AND 15 PERCENT SILICA. A SAMPLE COLLECTED FOR ANALYSIS FROM VARIOUS PARTS OF THE FACE GAVE MANGANESE, 41.5 PERCENT IRON, 5.5 PERCENT;SILICA, 8.1 PERCENT.
