  • GEOL.DESC: 1 1/2 TO 2 FT. THICK ORE BED IS ENCLOSED IN THIN-BEDDED RADIOLARIAN CHERT. OVERLYING ORE, AND SEPARATING IT FROM CHERTS ABOVE IS A 6 TO 12 INCH THICK BED OF YELLOW JASPER. ORE IS SOFT BLACK CRYSTALLINE MATERIAL WITH SOME IRON OXIDE LAMINATIONS. CHERTS BELOW ORE ARE STAINED WITH MANGANESE OXIDE. ORE AND ENCLOSING CHERTS ARE WARPED AND CUT BY A FAULT.
