| Deposit | WORKINGS FOLLOW FISSURE-FILLING QUARTZ VEIN PARALLEL TO BEDDING PLANE BETWEEN SHALE AND LIMESTONE. ORE CONSISTS OF CRYSTALLINE PODS, BLEBS, AND STRINGERS OF ARGENTIFEROUS GALENA AND SPHALERITE ALONG WITH SECONDARY ANGLESITE ?, CERUSSITE AND MALACHITE IN QUARTZ VEIN STAINED WITH HEMATITE AND MN OXIDE. SULFIDES OCCUR BOTH FRESH AND OXIDIZED. QUARTZ VEIN HAS BEEN SHEARED AND CRUSHED BY LATER MOVEMENT. VEIN CHANGES DIP ABRUPTLY TO THE SOUTH, STEEPENING TO 60-70S. |
