Deposit SEAMS (4-5 MM THICK, UP TO 25 CM) AND POCKETS IN IRONSTONE CONCRETION (UP TO 30 CM IN DIAMETER), CALLED BOULDER OPAL (APPROX. 90%); ALSO SANDSTONE (1.5%) IRONSTONE MATRIX OR BAND OPAL (1.5%) AND PIPE OPAL (0.5%); LARGEST PIECE FOUND TO DATE WAS BANDED OPAL APPROXIMATELY 1 M X 60 CM X 25 CM; SOME UPPER SURFACES OF OPAL HAVE ROUNDED BOTRYOIDAL TEXTURES.
