A MILL WAS BUI-LT ON THE PROPERTY IN 1918. NEVADA HUMBOLDT CORP CONSOLIDATED -WITH NEVADA MASSACHUSETTS CO IN 1925 AFTER WHICH HUMBOLDT MINE- PRODUCTION WAS NOT REPORTED SEPARATELY FROM DISTRICT TOTAL.

Deposit THE HUMBOLDT MINE IS PART OF THE NEVADA-MASSACHUSETTS CO. WORKINGS. MINING HAS ADVANCED FROM OUTCROP DOWN TO THE 1800 FT-LEVEL. THREE PARALLEL BEDS ARE WORKED IN THE MINE THE HUMBOLDT, SPRINGER, AND THE GEORGE THE HUMBOLDT AND SPRINGER MINES WERE ORIGINALLY WORKED SEPARATELY THEN BELOW THE 300 LEVEL THE MINES WERE CONNECTED AND THE SPRINGER MINE WAS WORKED FROM THE HUMBOLDT MINE SHAFT. THE HUMBOLDT MINE IS LOCATED ON THE STANK-HUMBOLDT BELT EAST OF THE STANK FAULT. ALONG THIS SAME BELT ARE ALSO THE G/DD, STANK, YELLOW SCHEELITE, KEYES, GEORGE, AND SPRINGER WORKINGS, HUMBOLDT-SPRINGER MINES PRODUCED 60% TOTAL ORE PRODUCED IN DISTRICT, 1917-1943. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
Deposit MINERALIZATION WAS CONFINED TO A SECTION FO TACTITE EXTENDING FROM THE OLSEN STOCK CONTACT TO A PREMINERAL FAULT. TACTITE MASSES ARE FOUND IN THREE PARALLEL BEDS.
