| Deposit | SCHEELITE OCCURS AS SCATTERED CRYSTALS, GENERALLY WITH QUARTZ, THROUGHOUT A WIDE ZONE OF BROKEN AND CONTORTED LIME-STONE OF THE COMUS FM. THE PROSPECT IS ABOUT 1 MILE FROM THE S-TOCK, AND IS THE ONLY KNOWN OCCURRENCE OF SCHEELITE IN THE DIS-TRICT OUTSIDE OF THE NARROW CONTACT ZONE AROUND THE GRANODIORI-TE. THE COPPER ORE OCCURS IN NARROW QUARTZ VEINS ON THE PROPER-TY. THE COPPER ORE AND SCHEELITE DO NOT OCCUR TOGETHER, AND TH-E AVERAGE TUNGSTEN CONTENT IS LESS THAN 0.1 % WO3. THERE ARE N-O KNOWN LOCAL CONCENTRATIONS OF SCHEELITE RICH ENOUGH TO PERMI-T SELECTIVE MINING. |
