| Deposit | SCHEELITE OCCURS IN 3 QUARTZITE BEDS OF THE WINNEMUCCA FM NEAR A GRANITE CONTACT. THE BEDS DO NOT CROP OUT, AND ARE ABOUT 2.5 FT THICK WHERE THEY ARE EXPOSED IN THE PITS. VERY LITTLE TACTITE DEVELOPMENT, WHERE THERE WERE LIMESTONE LENSES IN THE QUARTZITE. SCHEELITE OCCURS AS DISSEMINATIONS ALONG NARROW BEDDING PLANES IN THE HORNFELS. IN THE LIMITED UNDERGROUND WORKINGS, SCHEELITE OCCURS IN 1-3 INCH BANDS EXTENDING ONLY A FEW TENS OF FEET AWAY FROM THE GRANODIORITE CONTACT. |
