Deposit COBB #4 187 FOOT SHAFT SUNK PRIOR TO 1907. BEDROCK IS PHYLLITE OR MICA SCHIST WITH MANY CLAYEY ALTERED ZONES W/CRUSHED VEIN QUARTZ. GOLD PROBABLY DERIVED FROM MINERALIZED ALTERED ZONES. REFERENCE POINT AT CONFLUENCE OF DAHL AND QUARTZ CREEKS.
