Deposit ONE CLAIM PATENTED;M.S.1430 ISSUED IN 1924;10.22 ACRES MINING METHOD WOULD ENTAIL BLASTING THE BARITE, THEN LOADING DIRECTLY INTO BARGES. HARBOR FACILITIES AT SITE ARE POOR & AREA IS EXPOSED TO FREQUENT & SEVERE SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS.THE TOPOGRAPHY IS LOW RELIEF & DURING DRY PERIODS IN THE SUMMER NO FRESH WATER IS AVAILABLE.
