Deposit ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FROM DMEA REPORT, DOCKET NO. 1311X, D 1951: AT THE TIME OF THE REPORT, THE CLAIMS WERE CONTROLLED REALTY COMPANY, COLO. THE MINE HAS BEEN AN EARLY GOLD-SILVER DUCER, AS WELL AS URANIUM, AND IS LOCATED IN THE ONLY PITCHB PRODUCING DISTRICT OF ANY CONSEQUENCE IN THE U.S.A., THE QUA HILL AREA. INCLUDED IN THE REPORT ARE CLAIM, MINE AND LOCATI AS WELL AS VERTICAL SECTIONS OF SOME OF THE OLD MINE WORKING PITCHBLENDE OCCURS AS SMALL VEINS, PODS, AND LENSES OF HIGH- ORE IN THE NEARLY VERTICAL MAIN VEINS. THESE VEINS ARE FROM UP TO 2-3 FEET WIDE AND CONSIST OF VEINLETS OF PYRITE AND QU AT THE TIME OF THE REPORT, MINE WORKINGS WERE EXTENSIVE, THO LARGELY INACCESSIBLE. THE DMEA REPORT CONCLUDED ASSISTANCE F PLORATION BE GRANTED.
