MINERVA WAS BOUGHT OUT BY ALLIED. IN A TELEPHONE CONVERSATION WITH DAVID E. MORSE, FLOURINE SPECIALIST WITH USBM, HE STATED THAT THIS MINE WAS CLOSED IN 1972 AFTER PILLAR EXTRACTION.
