Deposit ALTHOUGH THERE ARE NO ANALYSES OF ORE INDICATIONS ARE THAT THE SITE MAY CONTAIN A LOW PERCENT OF CHROMIC OXIDE IN THE CONCEN ANALYSIS FROM THE REYNOLDS PLACER ONE HALF MILE SOUTHWEST OF DEPOSIT DID NOT GIVE BETTER THAN 8 OR 9 PCT CR2O3 IN THE CON THIS PERCENTAGE WOULD PRECLUDE IT FROM THE GSA SPECS FOR TYPIFICATION. DATE OF COMMENTS 1975.
