Environmental Factors NO MILL TAILINGS WERE OBSERVED AT THIS SITE DURING THE INVESTIGATION. TWO DISCHARGING ADITS WERE IDENTIFIED AT THE SITE. ONE OF THE DISCHARGES EVENTUALLY ENTERED BEAR GULCH; THIS DISCHARGE WAS SAMPLED FOR LABORATORY ANALYSIS. NO MAXIMUM CONTAMINANT LEVELS WERE EXCEEDED. BEAR GULCH WAS FLOWING ADJACENT TO THE SITE ON THE NORTH SIDE. SURFACE WATER AND SEDIMENT SAMPLES WERE COLLECTED UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM FROM THE SITE IN BEAR GULCH. NO MAXIMUM CONTAMINANT LEVELS WERE EXCEEDED IN BEAR GULCH, AND NO OBSERVED RELEASES WERE DOCUMENTED.
