FRANKLINIT WILLEMITE & ZINCITE ARE THE CHIEF ORE MINERALS FOR ZINC, MAN & IRON. CALCITE IS THE ONLY IMPORTANT GANGUE MINERAL (SEE REFERENCE 704, P. 14). RECORD 080/ MODE OF ORIGIN IS GIVEN AS METASOMATIC EMPLACEME THE FRANKLIN LIMESTONE BEFORE ITS REGIONAL METAMORPHISM (SEE REFERENCE 704, P. 22-23). |
