ROCKS, METAMORPOSED TO GNEISS - INTRUDED BY DIORITIC MAGMA. BOTH OF THESE BODIES IN BY PEGMATITIC SOLUTIONS AND DEPOSITED URANINITE. HYDROTH. SO THEN DEPOSITED MAGNETITE IN PEGMATITE AND ADJOINING ROCKS. SULFI WERE THEN DEPOSITED FROM SOLUTIONS THAT FOLLOWED PRIOR PEGM. CHEMICAL ANALYSES OF SULFIDE MINERALIZATION: RANGE FROM LOW TO HIGH- %- .240% , CU-.03%-1.52% ,N1=.093-.321%. SECTIONS WITH HIGHER AVERAGE SULPHIDE CONTENT WERE SELECTED FOR THESE DETERMINATIONS. AVERAGE ROCK DENSITY IS AVERAGE BETWEEN AND DIORITE. THE SULFIDE BODIES CONSIST OF MASSIVE PYRRHOTITE HAVE A DENSITY OF 4.6. MATRIX/6 THE TONNAGES GIVEN ARE THE INFERRED AMT OF URANIFEROUS ROCK IN TWO ZONES WITH A MINIMUM THICKNESS OF 3 FT. NO DATA VAILABLE FOR THE TONNAGE OF SULFIDES CONTAINING THE CO, NI AN ALTHOUGH MINOR AMTS OF URANIUM OCCUR IN THE SULFIDE ZONE. MOST OF THE PHILLIPS MINE WORKINGS ARE INACCESSIBLE (AS OF 19 ) THE LOCALITY OF THE MINE WORKINGS THE DEPOSIT OF PYRRHOTITE A THICKNESS OF 50 FT. THE MAXIMUM WIDTH OF THE ORE BODY IS 76 M.
