Comments on the location information

  • DMEA Docket 3996 clearly lists Blackstone No. 5 CLAIM as being in Fremont County. MINOBRAS puts it in sec. 22 which would be Natrona County. In any case, the Blackstone claims (also referred to as Hughes or Shoni property) are mostly in Fremont Co, albeit very close to the county line. The location maps in DMEA-3996 do not show Blackstone No. 5. It is possible that this is really the "Hughes Mining Co." shown with a mine symbol on the plat of the Jackneese Group in DMEA-3996 (p. 302, 312, 334, 342, and 368 of 454).
