  • THE PRAIRIE EVAPORITE FORMATION IS GENERALLY FLAT-LYING, BUT GRADUALLY DIPS TO THE SOUTH. THE FORMATION IS APPROXIMATELY 3500 FEET DEEP AT ITS NORTHERN END, AND 5000 FEET DEEP AT IS SOUTHERN END.
