| Deposit | Asbestos deposit is "on the north side of the West Fork of Deer Creek. A serpentine lens 1,500 ft. by 500 ft. trends northeast. There are several smaller lenses; all are surrounded by granite. A small amount of amphibole asbestos, one chrysotile veinlet, 1/4-in. wide, and two vermiculite lenses have been reported." (Bull. 50, p. 8) |
