| General | Unable to confirm exactly which mine on the ground is the Helmer. There are a number of diggings in the vicinity. Reference (MINOBRAS, p. 40) lumps all 4 mines (Helmer, Nelson, Heetland, and Sisson) into one brief description: "Uranium minerals in gray to buff sandstone (Fall River Formation), abundant carbonized plant life." |
