  • OWNED BY TERRA MINES (49%) AND PRIVATE MEXICAN INVESTORS (51%). BUILT A 650 TPD CRUSHING PLANT, HEAP LEACH AND GOLD RECOVERY PLANT. CURRENT MINING IS UNDERGROUND. TWO OTHER ZONES, NOT FULLY EXPLORED ARE AMENABLE TO OPEN PIT MINING. CURRENT LEACH RECOVERY IS ABOUT 70%. WALHALLA NOW OWNS A 50% DIRECT AND 32% INDIRECT INTEREST IN AMELIA ALONG WITH RED ROCK MINING CORPORATION. EXPECTED START OF OPEN PIT MINING IN NOVEMBER 1992.
