  • THE LALA DEPOSIT IS LOCATED IN HUILI COUNTY, LIANSHAN YI AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT, 550 KM SW OF CHENGDU. A MINE ROAD CONNECTED TO CHUANDAN STATE ROAD LEADS TO THE DEPOSIT. IT LIES ON THE BANK OF THE JINGSHA RIVER. THE CHENGDU-W. KUNMING RAILWAY PROVIDES ACCESS TO THE DEPOSIT; THE STATION LIES ON THE OPPOSITE BANK OF THE RIVER.

  • THE LALA BENEFICIATION PLANT HAS A RATED CAPACITY OF 6,000 MT/DAY WHICH WILL BE ACHIEVED IN THE YEAR 2000. AT PRESENT, THE PLANT PROCESSES .92% CU FEED TO PRODUCE A CU CONC. AS WELL AS MO CONC. AND CO CONC. AS CO-PRODUCTS. ACTUAL CAPACITY IN 1986 WAS 500 MT/DAY; NOW, IT IS ESTIMATED AT 2,000 MT/DAY. AFTER FLOTATION, THE RECOVERY RATIOS ARE: 89% CU; 50% CO; AND 78% MO. IT IS ESTIMATED THAT THESE CONCS. CONSIST OF 4,680 MT CU, 114 MT MO, AND 61.2 MT CO, YEARLY.
