Comments on the production information

  • HISTORY OF EXPLORATION: OTHER DRILLING REPRESENTS DIAMOND DRILLING.
  • BEGINNING IN 1981 ANNUAL PRODUCTION IS 11.3 MILLION MT ORE AND 5.65 MILLION MT WASTE. 32,000 MT ORE PRODUCED DAILY. PIT DEPTH IS PLANNED AT 300M, CURRENT DEPTH IS 105M. THE OVERALL PIT SLOPE IS 57 DEGREES. THE FOOTWALL SLOPE IS 45 TO 47 DEGREES. BENCH HT. IS 15M, & CUT-OFF GRADE IS 0.22%. COPPER. A 418KM HAULAGE OF CONCENTRATE BY ROAD AND RAIL TO SMELTING PLANT. THREE BUCYRUS-ERIE 45-R ROTARY BLASTHOLE MICHAEL SPRIGGS TELEX TO OSCAR NAIR ON 9/12/80, STATED THAT THE AVERAGE COPPER GRADE OF RESERVES WAS ABOUT .38%. HE ALSO CONFIRMED THAT THE VALUES ON CURRENT PRODUCTION (.3 G/TONNE AU AND 4.0 G/TONNE AG) FROM THE MINING MAGAZINE DATED NOVEMBER 1980, WERE ACCURATE.
