Deposit DATA CONTAINED IN THIS FILE WAS COLLECTED BY DAMES & MOORE UNDER U.S. BUREAU OF MINES CONTRACT #JO225010 IN 1983. THERE IS NO POST MINE/MILL PROCESSING FOR EITHER PRODUCT. BOTH ARE SOLD F.O.B. MILL SITE WITH THE CUSTOMER PAYING ALL TRANSPORATION COSTS. PRODUCTION ASSUMED TO INCREASE BY 50% IN 1985 AS ECONOMY IMPROVES. PRESSURE EXERTED BY CHINESE IMPORTS HAS CAUSED OUTPUT FROM SIC TO FALL BY 30% FROM 1991-1993. THE OPERATION HAS THE CAPACITY TO PROCESS 50,000 TPA OF CRUDE ORE AND PRODUCE 25,000 TPA OF METSPAR AND 15,000 TPA ACIDSPAR.
