Deposit LOCATED IN JILIN CITY, JILIN PROVINCE. RAW MATERIALS FROM VARIOUS SOURCES. ALLOYS: CR,MN,FE,W,MO, ETC. MANY KINDS OF FERROALLOY PLANTS, MOSTLY ELECTRIC FURNACES. ESSENTIAL IN NORTHEAST CHINA. ONE 12,5 MVA FURNACE TO PRODUCE 15 KT OF HIGH-CARBON FERROCHROUMIUM PER ANNUM AS WELL AS A 9 MVA FURNACE TO PRODUCE FERROCHROMIUM-SILICON AND FOUR 3,5 MVA FURNACES WITH A RATED CAPACITY OF 10 KT PER ANNUM FOR THE PRODUCTION OF LOW-CARBON FERROCHROMIUM. POWER IS OBTAINED FROM THE FENGMAN HYDRO- ELECTRIC POWER STATION ON THE LOWER SONGJIANG RIVER.
