Deposit CAESAR MINE IS A MAJOR PRODUCER AS OF 1981. THIS ANALYSIS TREATS A SINGLE SECTION OF THE GREAT DYKE-THE "CAESAR SECTION"-AS ONE MINING UNIT. IN REALITY, MORE THAN ONE COMPANY MAY HOLD LEASES OVER THE SECTION DESCRIBED AND IT IS POSSIBLE TO HAVE SIMULTANEOUS PRODUCTION FROM MORE THAN ONE COMPANY IN THE SECTION. TO ANALYZE THE GREAT DYKE FOR AVAILABILITY IT WAS NECESSARY TO ADDRESS THE SITUATION IN A LOGICAL, COMPARTMENTALIZED FORMAT. HENCE, THE "CAESAR SECTION" REFERS TO A 4 KM LONG SECTION COVERING THE EAST LIMB OF THE GREAT DYKE STRUCTURE FROM THE TOWN OF CALEDONIAN NORTHWARDS.
