| Deposit | PROSPECTS COVER MINERALIZED QUARTZ VEINS IN THE TEXAS CREEK GRANODIORITE PLUTON. 1. HYDER BUTTE(BRIGADIER):3 ADITS & 2 OPEN CUTS & SHAFT. AT AN ELEVATION OF 350 FT. A 25-FT.DEEP SHAFT HAS BEEN SUNK ON A QUARTZ VEIN. AT TOP OF SHAFT THE VEIN IS 2 FT.WIDE NARROWING TO 0.8 FT AT THE BOTTOM. VEIN CAN BE TRACED ON THE SURFACE FOR 400 FT., REACHING MAXIMUM OF 3 FT. WIDE. PYRITE, GALENA OCCUR IN MASSIVE SHOOTS IN THE QUARTZ. ASSAY OF GRAB SAMPLES INCLUDED 11.4-14.1% PB, 0.24-0.6 OZ/T AU, 10.2 TO 20.6 OZ/T AG. MINOR SCHEELITE IN THE MINERALIZED SHOOTS. 2. CREST: LOCAL SHOOTS OF GALENA, PYRITE & CHALCOPYRITE IN QUARTZ STRINGERS & VEINS 0.16-2 FT. THICK. HOST ROCK OF THE MINERALIZED QUARTZ IS TEXAS CREEK GRANODIORITE. SELECT GRAB SAMPLES AS HIGH AS 5.25 OZ/T AU. A CHANNEL SAMPLE ACROSS A 2-FT WIDTH OF THE VEIN ASSAYED AT 0.24 OZ AU/TON. 3. BLUEBIRD: LOCATED 1942; NO ACTIVITY SINCE. AT ELEVATION OF 2300 FT. A MINERALIZED QUARTZ VEIN OCCURS IN THE TEXAS CR GRANODIORITE. VEIN IS EXPOSED FOR ONLY A FEW FEET IN A CREEK BED; WIDTH IS 0.3 FT. MOLYBDENITE LINES VEIN WALLS & PYRITE,CHALCOPYRITE,GALENA & SCHEELITE AS DISSEM. GRAINS IN THE QUARTZ.ASSAY OF A SAMPLE GAVE 0.5 % W03.
