  • NO SPECIFIC DATA ON REMAINING RESERVE/RESOURCE HOWEVER WORLD BANK STATES (1991) THAT THE MINING AT HELIKON HAS BEEN SUSPENDED OWING TO EXHAUSTION OF HIGH GRADE RESOURCES. PRODUCTION AT RUBICON IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY COMPLICATED AS HIGH GRADE ORES ARE WORKED OUT. ITS FUTURE IS UNCERTAIN, BUT THERE IS CONSIDERABLE POTENTIAL FOR ADDITIONAL RESOURCES IN THE VICINITY.
